  10. URGENT INFORMATION!
  11.  
  12. DO YOU KNOW- That the United States is now on the brink of being plunged into
  13.              a Constitutional Convention.  Of course they are not calling it
  14.              that-it's been renamed the "Conference of the States."
  15.  
  16. DO YOU KNOW- These resolutions are coming from a small private group
  17.              (Council of State Governments) in Washington down to the
  18.              Governors. If passed the U.S. Constitution would be up for
  19.              grabs and open to any and all changes, unless you stop them!
  20.  
  21. DO YOU KNOW- That the CSG has an agenda that will permanently alter your form
  22.              of government and cost you your freedom. The CSG already
  23.              has two amendments prepared. The first recommends the
  24.              following words be added to the Tenth Amendment; "Whether a
  25.              power is one reserved to the states or to the people, shall be
  26.              decided by the Courts." This incredible proposal, the transfer of
  27.              state power to the federal Courts. should sound a clear alarm
  28.              to any legislator who thinks that the Leavitt-CSG "Conference of
  29.              the States" is intended to "restore balance to the state-federal
  30.              relationship."

  32.              The other amendment would empower the states to amend or
  33.              rewrite the entire "structure" of the U.S. Constitution! It states
  34.              as follows "Whenever three fourths of the Legislatures of the
  35.              several States deem it necessary, they shall propose
  36.              amendments to this Constitution that, after two years, shall be
  37.              valid to all intents and purposes as part of this Constitution,
  38.              unless disapproved by two-thirds of both Houses of Congress
  39.              within two years of the date the amendments are submitted to
  40.              the Congress."
